The SolRx 100-Series is Solarc’s smallest and most portable UVB-Narrowband phototherapy device. It is intended for spot targeting small areas of skin and has a treatment area of 5 x 2.5 inches (13 x 6 cm).
This inspired product is designed for maximum versatility and has at least six features not available on any other phototherapy device in the world. The SolRx Model “120UVB-NB” has two (2) Philips PL-S9W/01 9-watt bulbs generating Narrowband UVB at 311 nm.

The 230-volt SolRx 100-Series (120UVB-NB-230V) is a powerful handheld UVB-Narrowband phototherapy device, with a treatment area of 5″ x 2.5″ inches (13 x 6 cm). This portable unit is designed for maximum versatility in a compact carrying case and has many compatible accessories. The 100-Series is the only handheld phototherapy device that is approved to be placed directly on the patient's skin thereby eliminating the need to hold the device for certain treatment spots. All units are shipped fully assembled and are US-FDA and Health Canada compliant.
All 100-Series devices come with our comprehensive User’s Manual which includes detailed treatment time guidelines, one set of ultraviolet protective goggles, two keys for the switchlock, a timer cover, a Roberts head screwdriver should any maintenance need to be done, a set of six customizable aperture plates for spot targeting, a 4 year product warranty, a 1 year bulb warranty, an arrival guarantee, and freight to most locations in North America is included in the price. There is nothing else you need to purchase to begin your treatments. All units are shipped fully assembled and are US-FDA and Health Canada compliant.
An accessory unique to the 100-Series is the UV-Brush that can be easily attached and removed from the handheld unit. This UV-Brush allows the user a more effective means to treat skin conditions on the scalp. For more information about the UV-Brush click here.
Another accessory unique to the SolRx 100-Series is the optional Positioning Arm that can be seen here. The Positioning Arm allows the patient to use the device without needing to hold it. This proves to be beneficial if treatments times are quite high or if they are in hard to reach places.
100-Series devices use Philips Narrowband UVB PL-S9W/01 “Long Compact Fluorescent” bulbs, which provide significantly greater UV light output than competitive devices using “T12” bulbs, which results in shorter treatment times for you.
