SolRx 500-Series Hand/Foot & Spot
A Medical Prescription is Required for USA Customers. By law, the purchase of a home phototherapy device in the United States requires a medical prescription. Please attach your prescription to the order on the checkout page. Prescriptions are not required for replacement lamp purchases. Never before has a mid-size UV phototherapy device been capable of so much. The 500 Series can be used for both Hand / Foot and Spot treatment of nearly any area of the body. This powerful device has proven to be a convenient, effective, and economical alternative to phototherapy in a clinic.
The 500-Series is available with either 2,3, or 5 Philips UVB-Narrowband bulbs – the very same bulbs used by phototherapy clinics worldwide. All of the devices listed here are for use with 120-volt supply power.

The SolRx 500-Series is a powerful mid-size UVB Narrowband phototherapy device with a treatment area of about 16″ x 13″ inches (46 x 33cm). This portable unit is designed for in-home use with maximum versatility in a compact, cost effective package. With both mounting yoke and hood removable, there are countless treatment possibilities. It can be set up for Spot treatment of nearly any area of the body, or it can be used as a Hand & Foot unit, just like at the clinic.
All 500-Series devices come with a comprehensive User’s Manual that includes detailed treatment time guidelines, one set of ultraviolet protective goggles, two keys for the switchlock, a 4 year product warranty, a 1 year bulb warranty, an arrival guarantee, and shipping to most places in Canada and USA; all included in the price. There is absolutely nothing else you need to purchase to begin your treatments. All units are shipped fully assembled and are US-FDA and Health Canada compliant.
500-Series devices use exactly the same medical UVB-Narrowband bulbs as at the phototherapy clinic. Philips UVB-Narrowband PL-L36W/01 “Long Compact Fluorescent” bulbs provide significantly greater UV light output than competitive devices using older style “T12” bulbs, which results in shorter treatment times and better results.
All of the 500-Series devices listed here operate on a 120-volt, 15-amp, 3-prong grounded power supply outlet, which is common in almost all homes in North America. We also offer a 220/240-volt 5-bulb Hand/Foot & Spot device (550UVB-NB-230V) that can be found here.
